Milk in moderation
It is believed that the more milk a child receives per day, the better. But a group of Canadian scientists as a result of a comprehensive study found that children should drink no more than two glasses (400 ml) of milk per day. This norm, they said, is optimal and sufficient to satisfy the body in the gland and products from which vitamin D can be synthesized.
The study, which generated these findings, was conducted between 2008 and 2010 in Ontario, involving 1,300 children aged 2 to 5 years. Moreover, scientists came to the conclusion that parents should not force children to drink milk more than the recommended norm. Because its excess can cause various problems with the intestines, including constipation and digestive disorders, which affect overall health.
